When I received a text message from Dan asking me to sneakily capture his planned proposal, I was so excited! When I heard he was planning for the sound side at the Whalehead Club, I was ALL in! The Whalehead Club is one of the most beautiful photo locations at sunset and with views of the Currituck Lighthouse, the Whalehead Mansion and the sound it truly makes for the most perfect location for such a romantic moment.
When Dan got down on one knee and popped the question, fish were jumping out of the water behind them. It was truly a dream! With a heartfelt and teary eyed “yes” they hugged and joyfully popped champagne to celebrate! We truly just love getting to capture proposals in this way.
